Former Socceroos and current SBS commentators Craig Foster, David Zdrilic and Jason Culina will be headlining a multicultural festival and soccer game on Monday, 10 November, Griffith University’s Logan Campus.

How we can best prepare for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Queensland. This is the focus of a Griffith University-led two day NDIS symposium where people with disabilities, their families and carers, service providers, government personnel, academics and disability researchers will come together to share knowledge and experiences around the core elements of the NDIS.

A love of working with children was the inspiration for education graduate Kylee Ahlan.

As a youth mentor, Bronte’s passion for caregiving had served her well to build new relationships and provide support, but she admits she was ‘totally blown away’ by what she learned about careers in midwifery that day.

Opened in 1998 by then Premier Peter Beattie, the Logan campus has transformed in its short 15 year history and grown into a pillar of the Logan community.

Ms Allen, in Australia for the Brisbane Festival shared with the Griffith University community, local schools and partners in the Logan district her experience in using arts education to encourage disengaged youths.
