Australian Soccer greats celebrate diversity

Jason Culina will be at the World Game Multicultural Festival, Monday 10 November, Logan Campus

Former Socceroos and current SBS commentators Craig Foster, David Zdrilic and Jason Culina will be headlining a multicultural festival and soccer game on Monday, 10 November, Griffith University’s Logan Campus.

The World Game Multicultural Festival is being hosted by local Federal MP Jim Chalmer, and SBS, and will be supported by ACCESS Community Services Ltd.

The festival seeks to celebrate the Logan Community’s diversity through a friendly game and skills clinic in soccer — the world’s sport.

Griffith Sport Business Manager Mr Martin Unicomb was excited for the community event. “Sport and Diversity is one of the university’s strengths because it creates a sharing and respectful environment where all are equal,” he said.

“The event will bring us all together. It’s great to get such high profile soccer personalities to Logan to celebrate our strong, multicultural community.”

The World Game Multicultural Festival will be held on Monday, 10 November 2014 from 3:15-5:30PM at the Griffith University Logan Campus Sports Fields.

All are welcome to attend. For more information:
