Griffith University runners were ‘treated like rock stars’ at this year’s Gold Coast Airport Marathon as Team Griffith claimed it’s fourth successive title as the Largest Corporate Team in the two-day event.

Vice Chancellor and President of Griffith Professor Ian O’Connor visited the Team Griffith tent on Sunday to provide his encouragement to the weary runners as they returned from the half and full marathons.

More than 800 people took part in the annual event hosted by Griffith Sport, following a COVID-enforced hiatus in 2020.
After the onsite event was cancelled due to COVID-19 last year, the Griffith Sport Logan Fun Run 2021 was held under cool but sunny skies at Logan Campus on the weekend.
Despite a gloomy weather outlook, spirits at this year's Toohey Trail Run were jubilant.
