The red shirts of Griffith University were a dominant feature at this year’s Gold Coast Airport Marathon weekend, with Team Griffith bringing home the title of Largest Corporate Team for the third year running.
Vice Chancellor and President of Griffith Professor Ian O’Connor visited the Team Griffith tent on Sunday to provide his encouragement to the weary runners as they returned from the half and full marathons.
A record 1001 staff, students, alumni and community members will be donning their red Team Griffith shirt and running shoes for the Gold Coast Airport Marathon being held on the 4th and 5th of July.
With more than 700 registered competitors Team Griffith was off and running in perfect weather at this year’s Gold Coast Airport Marathon.
