On the 27 August 2013, Dr Martin Jacques, a globally renowned public intellectual and economist and author of the global best-seller When China Rules the World: the End of the Western World and the Birth of a New Global Order discussed the key problems, both economic and political, that China will face in the process of becoming the dominant global power.

The seminar was jointly hosted by The Griffith Asia Institute, the Australian Centre of Asia-Pacific Art, Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and Asialink.
