Griffith has claimed victory in the second leg of the AON Rugby 7s series, toppling tournament favourites Sydney Uni and UQ for the cup.

The Griffith AON 7s have secured 4th place in the first round of the series after a tough couple of games on the second day of the competition.

The Griffith University 7s squad has officially launched its’ season with a uniform presentation and 2019 jersey unveiling at the Gold Coast.

Griffith has announced a strong 24-player squad to compete at this year’s AON Rugby Seven’s Series.
