Games design students at Griffith are helping keep Indigenous language and stories alive, creating a series of interactive games for the Yugambeh Museum, south of Brisbane.
Griffith Film School lecturer Dr Tim Marsh has been appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, joining luminaries like Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Stephen Hawking and World Wide Web pioneer Tim Berners-Lee. The RSA was founded in 1754, and Fellowships are awarded to accomplished individuals who have made a contribution to society in a cultural or arts-related sphere.
Griffith Film School and the Griffith Centre for Creative Arts Research are hosting the prestigious Joint Conference on Serious Games – the first time the event has been held in Australia.
