Design graduate Benny Lai recently completed his Honours research project at the Queensland College of Art (QCA), creating self-empowering jewellery for individuals living with anxiety.

Debbie Taylor Worley started her studies at the Queensland College of Art (QCA) as a mature student with a view to improving her skills in the arts. In 2018, she graduated from a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) with a new sense of her capabilities and potential.

Interior Design graduate Maddison Cronin recently completed her Honours research project at QCA exploring how virtual reality can aid in the transitioning process between a physical inpatient rehabilitation centre and the patient’s home.

Established in 2014, the Australian Decorative Fine Art Society (ADFAS) Scholarship is granted to applicants who seek to further their practice through Honours study at the Queensland College of Art (QCA).

During the QCA graduate shows throughout October and November, our graduating students showcased work from the disciplines of fine art, photography, design and digital media, contemporary Australian Indigenous art, film, animation and games design. These exhibitions celebrated the remarkable achievements of students during their studies, and recognised notable outstanding students through awards across each of the creative disciplines.
