Plans are already underway at Griffith University’s Logan Campus for the staging of the Live & Local Expo from the 13th to the 16th of March, 2013.
The expo is an annual community event which provides a forum for business operators to connect with each other, as well as the wider community. It will also be an opportunity for interaction between students from local secondary schools, business organisations, and the general community.
Activities will include a Business Breakfast, Business Forums, Speed Networking Events and more than 100 trade booths to allow business operators to form new collaborations and working partnerships.
Professor LesleyChenoweth, Head of Logan Campus, said Griffith University was very proud to host such an important event for the region.
“Logan campus is very much driven towards engaging the local community in higher education through innovative partnerships, industry engagement and program pathways,” Professor Chenoweth said.
“This Live and Local Expo will provide a very real collaborative environment and offer information and networking opportunities for anyone thinking of studying at Griffith, but particularly for those interested in a future in business.”
The Logan campus is readily accessible by public transport but there will also be plenty of parking available.
