On Monday 12 January 2015 a delegation comprising three Japanese universities from the Shikoku region — Tokushima Bunri University, Matsuyama University and the University of Tokushima, visited Griffith University Gold Coast campus. The visit provided Griffith University with an opportunity to both showcase the School of Pharmacy, and, to also demonstrate collegiality in the international university sector. It is anticipated that the delegation found the visit beneficial in their program of reforming pharmacy education in Japan.
