David Williamson AO is Australia’s most celebrated playwright of iconic works such as Don’s Party, The Club, The Removalists, Emerald City and many others. A leading voice in the arts scene since the 1970s, David’s work explores what it means to be human, and paints a unique portrait charting the changing face of Australia over the past 50 years.
He has been awarded many times over, including accolades for screenwriting from the Australian Film Institute, Australian Writers Guild Awards, and a Golden Globe nomination.
