700 local secondary school teachers came together earlier this month to celebrate the annual Gold Coast Secondary Education Ball and Excellence Awards.
Held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event recognised world class nominees who go above and beyond to help students, staff and their school communities, every day.
The Gold Coast has approximately 2900 secondary teachers, supporting more than 28,000 students.
Griffith University’s School of Education and Professional Studies sponsors an Excellence in Secondary Teaching Award, with Professor Donna Pendergast, Head of School, in attendance to present the award to Ms Jasmin Wildman from Elanora State High School.
All winners of the night are listed online here.
