A free online social marketing class will be launched at Griffith Business School tonight.
Social Marketing @ Griffith is starting the five-module online course for behaviour change practitioners, guiding users through a practical 4-step model to help create and deliver sustainable behaviour change programs.
“Behaviour change practitioners and students will learn more about changing behaviour that benefits individuals and communities for the greater good,” Dr Timo Dietrich (pictured), Social Marketing @ Griffith, said.
“It is designed to teach practitioners, students, health promoters, educators and government officials about the science of Social Marketing.”
Social marketing involves the use of commercial marketing techniques to influence and facilitate behaviours that benefit individuals and communities.

Griffith Business School launched Queensland’s first and Australia’s second research centre for social marketing in 2013.
