Criminology Student Society scores two awards

The Criminology Student Society recently won two awards at the 2013 Griffith University Club Awards Night.

Outgoing President Frans Badenhorst accepted the award for Most Outstanding Executive Committee and Jade Pereira and Caitlin Gow accepted the award for Best Office and Finance Management.

During 2013 theCriminology Student Society membership has grown by nearly 2,000% from approximately 35 members in late 2012 to more than 400 by late 2013.

The Criminology Student Society (CSS) is a student run society aimed at enriching the academic and social experiences of students studying with theSchool of Criminology and Criminal Justice. They organise academic events such as prison visits, work place tours, staff networking events and this year’s inaugural Criminology Ball.

Congratulations to the CSS Executive for all their hard work during 2013 to grow the Criminology Student Society to one of the most successful clubs at Griffith University.
