Students from Young Conservatorium and the State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) will represent Griffith University when they travel to Seattle to take part in the Western International Band Clinic this November.
Born out of the Young Conservatorium and SHEP, the Pacific Honours Ensemble Program (PHEP) will see the finest students from both programs immersed in four days of rehearsals, workshops and master classes.
They will work with eminent conductors from around the world and the event will culminate in two performances in Seattle featuring 600 students from the USA and 11 Conservatorium students, playing to an audiences of over 1,500 people.
Open Conservatorium, the parent of SHEP, is proud to assist some of the most outstanding high school aged musicians from our state to represent us on the world stage.
