Queensland Conservatorium horn ensemble QHorns scored two wins in the International Horn Society’s Horn Ensemble Competition last week.
After an energy filled performance in ‘Goin’ to Graceland’…Memphis Tennessee, Queensland Conservatorium’s horn ensemble travelled to Memphis, Tennessee to attend the 45th International Horn Symposium.
The Con’s horn ensembles, under the direction of Ysolt Clark, competed with student and adult amateur horn ensembles from around the world in the Symposium’s Horn Ensemble Competition.
QHorns won their section – Large Horn Ensembles, while the QHorn Quartet tied first with Indiana University’s quartet in the Quartet section.
