Weekly mini-festival seeds newest independent talent

Seed volume two

From August 9, the very best local independent bands will present original music in free mini-festivals each Friday night in South Bank.

The Seed Project, a collaboration between the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) will showcase unearthed talent before they hit the mainstream airwaves.

Launching on August 9 and running weekly until October 11 on the Melbourne Street Green, The Seed Project will feature funk and pop-rap, heavy metal and alt rock, folk and hip-hop performers from the QCGU’s Bachelor of Popular Music program and tracks from the album, Seed Volume 2.
