Gold Coast high schoolers to experience life as a musician

Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University will open its doors to Gold Coast schools this July to allow budding musicians to explore the world of a popular music student.

More than 200 students and teachers from 15 schools will descend on the Con for school experience days. They will hear from industry experts from the course and gain hands-on practice in the recording facilities.

The days will allow young musicians to see how they can succeed at university and also as a professional in the music industry.

DATES: Wednesday 10, Thursday 11, Wednesday 17, Thursday 18 July.

The Con will also host an event in conjunction with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE on Friday 19 July for high school music teachers.
