Delegates from 25 countries will touch down in Brisbane next week for the 8th International Congress of Voice Teachers at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
With the human voice able to express emotion like no other instrument, the multifaceted role of the voice teacher will be explored as it relates to the crucial role music plays in the life of every community.
With concerts, masterclasses, debates and discussions from renowned international experts, the event will share a global love of singing.
The welcome reception at Brisbane City Hall on 10 July will feature a performance from The Birralee Blokes — winners of the 2012 International kathaumixw “Choir of the World” competition in Canada.
