Griffith Business School is bringing an MBA information evening to a laptop near you.

Griffith Business School’s online presence takes a step in a new direction with a virtual information evening on Wednesday (June 19).

Study options for the MBA and postgraduate business programs will be up for in-depth online discussion during a 35-minute computerised event.

“No matter where you are, you can take part in the webinar from your PC, laptop or mobile device,” MBA Director, Dr Nick Barter, said.

Dr Barter will take an active and interactive part in the online session, including the question and answer session that wraps it up.

Those participating are invited to login from 4.30pm and make sure they are set up for the three online presentations that will follow.

The introductory session will be delivered by Jessica Yuen, Postgraduate and Executive Programs Manager, from 5.15pm.

She will be followed by Dr Kuldeep Sandhu, Postgraduate Program Director, who will present an overview of what is on offer and the study options available.

Dr Barter will deliver a session on the MBA program, and all three presenters will participate in the question and answer session. Anyone interested in taking part can register here.

“We are very aware of the time constraints that sometimes prevent people from attending useful information sessions in person,” Dr Barter said.

“With the virtual information evening, we aim to meet the needs of busy people by providing them with the chance to find out what they need to know about the various programs, irrespective of where they are.

“It’s the kind of flexible approach Griffith Business School applies to MBA and postgraduate studies.”

Dr Barter launched the MBA App last month, a further example of how electronic communications are used to inform and update students and graduates.

The App is an interactive platform where anyone can update knowledge and get across the latest industry thinking through a range of categories including Director’s Updates, Ideas and Tips and MBA Program content.

Business events, networking opportunities and articles from around the world on business practice are also accessible through the App.

The MBA, Master of Marketing and Bachelor of Business degrees are among programs being developed by Griffith University for online delivery.
