Free dental clinic in Cherbourg

A group of universitystudents are helping tocombat the poor dentalhealth at Cherbourg.

Four times a year GriffithUniversity dental studentstravel to the town and setup a free dental clinic atBarambah Health Centre.

This week 10 students,with help from theirsupervising dentist, saw tomore than 100 patients andperformed 350 separateprocedures.

The group behind theclinic is Hope 4 Health, oneof 29 rural health clubsunder the National RuralHealth Students Network.

The students were supervised by Dr Ed Khoury, one of the supervising dentists on the Griffith University School of Dentistry’s roster.
