Medicine students go rural

Jenna Weetman, a second year medical student at Griffith University, applies a cast to trainer and orthopaedic plaster technician Ron Jack.

Jenna was one of several Griffith students who took part in a Go Rural skills day hosted by Health Workforce Queensland on 2 March at Greenslopes Hospital. Go Rural is a federally funded campaign to attract students and young doctors to careers in rural medicine. It is being run by Rural Health Workforce Australia in partnership with the state and territory rural workforce agencies. Find out more atwww.rhwa.org.au/gorural
