Business Alumni shine at Gala Dinner

Samantha Kume and Vivienne Anthon

Almost 300 GBS alumni, friends, industry partners, staff and students came together on Friday 26 October to celebrate at the Griffith Business School Gala Dinner and Awards Night. The seventh annual dinner was a wonderful opportunity for our alumni to re-engage with each other and recognise the successes of Griffith Business School and Griffith University.

We are grateful for the support of event sponsor AGL Energy.

The dinner provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the achievements of outstanding graduates, both through the keynote address and via the Outstanding Alumnus award. This year’s key note speaker, Vivienne Anthon FAIM (pictured right with Samantha Kume), CEO of the Australian Institute of Management QLD & NT, is a proud Griffith MBA alumnus and passionate supporter of leadership and management as a critical factor in business success. She entertained the audience with stories and anecdotes, and brought a light hearted commentary to the serious topic of people management.
