One of the country’s most beloved vocalists, ARIA award-winner Katie Noonan was recently bestowed with the title of ‘Alumnus of the Year’ for the Arts, Education and Law (AEL) group within Griffith University.

The award followed on from the honour of also being named Alumnus of the Year for the Queensland Conservatorium, where she completed her Bachelor of Music.

Both recognise the outstanding achievements and success Katie has achieved since graduating in 1997.

The 4-time ARIA Award-winning and 6-time platinum-selling vocalist, composer and pianist has been part of multiple successful musical collaborations since her angelic vocals first garnered national attention in acclaimed indie-pop band George.

Katie’s career has since encompassed opera, jazz, pop, rock and dance and as one of Australia’s most talented and versatile vocalists she continues to leap from strength to strength, showing no signs of slowing down.
