For the past 7 years the Welfare and Student Liaison Office (WSLO) has been providing financial assistance in the form of student bursaries to students in severe financial hardship. 
There are three different types of bursaries available: Safety Net Bursary, Widening Participation Education Costs Bursaryand Giving@Griffith Education Costs Bursary.
A recent review on the previous bursary recipients has confirmed that a majority of these students have continued with their studies or have graduated indicating a very positive retention outcome.
